It was really interesting and well written, but I did feel that trying to make a connection between the Worlds Fair, the architecture of Chicago and HH Holmes was a bit forced at times

I read it ages ago and did put it down for a while after I got a quarter of the way into the book, but gave it another chance and it actually started getting interesting lol. I would say it really picks up halfway through.

I’m glad they are taking their time with this book adaptation, it deserves the best. Excited to see who they cast as Holmes.
