EEAAO is pretty much top tier favourite right now for me which makes my other favourites look like trash in comparison haha but

It's so funny to me how the guys who made the Turn Down For What music video made Everything, Everywhere. It's like knowing the One Republic guy and Katy Perry got their start on MySpace. And all the actors/musicians who started on Youtube. Humble beginnings.

I don't think they're analogous. Turn Down For What was a major label release (Columbia), both video and song won a bunch of awards, the song was used in tons of film and TV etc. Not humble beginnings, IMO. They had already directed videos for Tenacious D, Foster the People and the Shins prior to that one, and moving to films is natural for many video directors. To me it's funnier if people who have only heard of them with EEAAO go back and watch Swiss Army Man...Daniel Radcliffe as a farting corpse.
