I hope he keeps in the part about the Lost Boys, that always terrified me as a child, and I'll bet he could do it justice.

you mean the pleasure island donkey boys? I don't think they've ever officially (or unofficially?) been called The Lost Boys, those are the ones from Peter Pan.

Regardless, I'm right there with you! Body horror is some of the best horror and that is FIRMLY BH territory. It's absolutely up his alley to take on that particular scene. TBH that's exactly why I was excited for him to take this movie on because it's fairy tale and spooky, that's all him lol

Yes, the Donkey Boys! I thought they were Lost Boys as well but you're right, that's Peter Pan. I remember my classroom having the big Disney books in 4th grade and the way the donkey boys segment was depicted....let's just say it made me forever wary of situations that were too good to be true, lol.

The animation of that scene of Lampwick transforming is SO terrifying. I loved that movie a ton as a kid but that scene WHEW. When he's watching his hands turn into hooves is wild af.

And then the little donkey boys getting stripped of their clothes, the ones that can still talk crying for their mama's, still dressed in their little outfits....LORDDD!!

Not to mention creepy ass Monstro!

I'm with you, those moments absolutely taught me the same lesson lol Which tbf was the goal so kudos to them for that one, they truly got the point across.
