I think we need to start accepting that art takes time, the push for shorter and shorter deadlines with less and less pay has been killing artists for years.

Like I am fine if Marvel comes out with one or 2 things here and there and doesn’t rush, I honestly don’t even keep up anymore because it is oversaturation at this point.

We also need to seriously overhaul labor laws and break up Disney but I doubt it’ll happen. Greed always seems to win.

Truly. I haven’t been that blown away visually by any onscreen media since Jurassic Park. The Arcane is a masterpiece, imo.

I really feel awful for VFX people. They need a union - or if they have one they need a stronger one - and I wish they could as an industry ban together and just NOT work on anything Marvel because if I had to endure all of THIS just for people to turn around and then drag it? I would LOSE IT

Everyone was talking about how great it was for Jordan Peele that his new movie had the highest opening weekend for an original movie since the movie he released in 2019 and all I could think about was how depressing it is that Marvel has such a chokehold on the industry.
