Why is "painful" in parenthesis like she's exaggerating or something? Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but that's kinda shitty.

if you have an office job you can step away for a bit. But there are times that myself or colleagues have been through something and, well, I can’t understand how they went on to the red carpet afterwards.

when i read the first part of her quote i thought she meant that in an office job you can step away emotionally from the trauma, as opposed to being an actor and maybe being in a project where there's a similar storyline. which is valid. but then she mentions going on the red carpet after and i realized she actually thinks the average person gets to take a sabbatical when they have a miscarriage.
so i googled her and she's a child actress raised by a stage actress of course she has no concept of a normal job

Sometimes you go through things that are tough in life and if you have an office job you can step away for a bit.

Someone's never had an office job.

I sympathize with anyone who is dealing with trauma and having to “turn it off” and appear to be ok for work etc but normal people who have office jobs don’t have the privilege she’s talking about. Many people suffer in silence because they have a demanding job and can’t take time off to heal so idk what the hell she’s talking about?

I ale forget about the both of them and that they’re married. I had no clue they had a one year old.
