Wooooooo! Loving the way this season is unfolding. I've been looking forward to the ~*Delores takes over the world*~ plot, and it looks like we finally have it-even though it's my least favorite version of Delores in charge (Delores #2 / Hale).
I'm excited that Delores #1 has woken up, knows her power, and is joining forces with Teddy again! Hopefully she can join forces with Maeve this time. I hated that they were enemies in S3.
i tried to start this season and had to stop because i do not remember anything from s3. so i'm going to have to rewatch it, even though i distinctly remember being whelmed-to-disappointed by it. but everyone keeps saying how good s4 is and i still have hope for this show, so i'm willing to do the extra homework.
I was gonna do that but one episode in I remembered how much Aaron Paul and Vincent Cassel are in it and how whelming it was so I gave up and watched a recap on YouTube instead. I've been enjoying S4, though!
Tbh I strongly disliked s3 when it aired and while parts of it still feel bloated, I think it works better when you can binge it instead of having to wait. It's just so much to have to carry over in your mind from week to week that the time in between really hinders the flow. In my opinion, season 4 is doing a good job of tying what happened in 3 back to 1 and 2. AP is still in it, but more characters are getting a lot more screen time than they did in s3 so it feels like he has a more diminished role and the story has regained its focus.
