Elon Musk engaged in a brief affair with Nicole Shanahan, Sergey Brin's wife of 4 years.

The liaison with Musk took place in early December 2021, at the Art Basel event in Miami. Brin filed for divorce in January, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The divorce filing was made after Brin learned of the brief affair.

Musk is the richest person in the world, with an estimated fortune of $240 billion.
Brin ranks eighth, with $95 billion.

Brin and Musk were longtime friends. Brin provided Musk with about $500,000 for Tesla during the 2008 financial crisis, when the company was struggling. Brin instructed his advisers to sell his personal investments in Musk’s companies after learning about the affair.

At a party, Musk dropped to one knee in front of Brin and apologized profusely for the transgression, begging for forgiveness.

Brin and Shanahan are currently negotiating a settlement, with Shanahan seeking more than $1 billion, WSJ said, even though there’s a prenuptial agreement.

The affair took place when Musk (51) had broken up with his girlfriend, Grimes (34). The two have two children, including a daughter who was born via surrogate the same month of the affair. The month prior, November 2021, Musk and one of his top executives, [pic 1] Shivon Zilis (36), secretly had twins. He began dating Australian actress [pic 2] Natasha Bassett (29) exclusively since February 2022.

Brin's first wife is 23andMe CEO [pic 1] Anne Wojcicki, whom he met in 1998 and had 2 kids with. In 2013, Brin and Wojcicki separated after she discovered that her then-husband was having an affair with a Google employee, [pic 2] Amanda Rosenberg. Brin started seeing [pic 3] Nicole Shanahan in 2015 and the two married in 2018 and had a baby that year.
