Agree, that's yikes! Looks more like the original art ideas they were playing around with, before they decided on Baby Yoda's current, and cuter, iteration. As it is, you really have to work to make BY look as scary as he does in this comic.

So yes, I agree. Unless they improve the artwork, will be a hard miss from me as well.

Since Artemis has been drawn a tiny bit darker nowadays (below is E1 so not a recent example but what I'd love for her to look like going forward) I was hoping they'd at least keep her origin being Egyptian or something close to it....but instead? She's just another white girl from America who joined the Bana and became their greatest warrior.

i wish i could get back into western comics, but it's so difficult to keep up with everything. i'll stick to my webcomics. i'm currently trying to catch up on painter of the night and lost in the cloud (it's so good.)
