The scene where [Spoiler (click to open)]Lucy tells Charles he's her favorite dad had me in tears. I don't have very many "good" parent-aged (relative to me) figures, and it made me jealous and also happy to see, even for a fictional character.

I was so happy to see [Spoiler (click to open)]James Caverly and Nathan Lane again!! James was snubbed today tbh. He was the star of my fave episode last season.

Charles is so sweet 😭

eta: I forgot to mention how funny and relatable it was to see that Mabel, even though she's considered young/hip by Charles, was also super overwhelmed and confused by Lucy.

This was such a sweet episode because it was a reminder that kids suffer as well during breakups, and you just don't stop loving someone when they're no longer in your life. I still remember a man my mother was engaged to quite fondly, and I missed him horribly when they broke it off so that part rang true.

[Spoiler (click to open)]that crawlspace/utility space between the apartments though...ugh. A lot of bigger vintage apartment complexes and hotels have that and it's kinda creepy.
