It blows my brain seeing this and having a vague understanding of just how small a piece of the sky these photos come from. Like, the fact that the Pillars of Creation (not one of these, obv) are one of the Big astronomy photos you always see and it's still in our own galaxy?! And the speck of sand thing about the deep field photo where you can see a bunch of different galaxies...jfc.

I have to laugh that people think we're the only planet with life. The ego of humanity. hahaha

These photos also make me kinda mad though ngl but only because I WANNA KNOWWWWWWWW and I WANNA GOOOO SEEEEEEE.
