Is she alright ?
I'm sorry but why is singing trying to sing like Michael Jackson ??? Also she doesn't have the natural charisma to genuinely pull off the fierceness she's trying to emulate...Maybe I'm just a bit lost because I only remember her from her me and u days but let's say the transformation is...interesting ?

i actually was into the vibe when they were cheering (tho i'd love it if we could let go of the "naughty school girl" trope).
(it reminded me of late 90s/2000s mv and i thought maybe this would be a throwback. and maybe it still was cause it actually reminded me of those godawful mid 00s mv that were 100% green screen with shitty cgi.)
but the disappointment i felt when i heard the actual song and the actual video. so visceral. dissatisfying the way diet coke is dissatisfying. the way lightly salted lays are dissatisfying. the way a candle from the dollar store is dissatisfying.
that said i love the part in the gif (and only as a gif).

"You know what I care about with Ciara? I care about her signing a lucrative modeling contract. She is one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and she's sweet as pie. And she's been taking allocution lessons. So, she's a real good talker now. And I think she should take advantage of all that and leave that music alone."
