seems like a fun concept for a documentary, and i love the title's suggestion that none of the ppl in it are movie stars

I always thought it was interesting that they were considered the gold standard Hollywood couple when they started out as an affair.

But a 50 year marriage in Hollywood is like a 200 year marriage in real life, so that's something.

Yeah, they have to talk about his 1st family which include his son. Part of the reason their relationship was rocky because he was with new family,making movies and a host of other issues.

Just read the article from People's and they do discuss his previous family.

The release adds, "At Newman's request, Stern interviewed close friends, family and artistic collaborators Elia Kazan, Sidney Lumet, Karl Malden, Sidney Pollack, Gore Vidal, Jacqueline Witte, Joanne Woodward and others for a planned memoir."

"Newman was also interviewed by Stern," the release continues. "They discussed his youth, his first marriage with Witte, his romance and life with Woodward, his personal demons and the gut-wrenching loss of his son, Scott."

After falling into a Rock Hudson rabbit hole recently, I became more aware of the likelihood that Paul Newman was bisexual, or at least much more experimental than I had previously thought. Joanne Woodward too, apparently. I wonder if we will ever know which of those stories were real, if any.
