i am regrettably a cardi fan so i’ve been listening to hot shit today, i like it except for the men (lil durks verse is especially ass i wish i could edit it out). i’m loving sunmi’s newest and i liked the j-hope prerelease tho i haven’t returned to it too much yet.

i usually end up liking most of what cardi puts out, but "hot shit" just sounds like she rewrote "up" and added male rappers to it

Cardi’s song just doesn’t hit like her previous efforts. It sounds like a diluted version of up.

Charli really needs to figure out how to make a catchy song. She just keeps releasing forgettable b-sides.

Fromis and Sunmi are great! The City Girls/Usher song is cute and the Cardi song is decent enough but neither man added anything significant to its content aside from making it a longer song. Sabrina's is....ok? Has her music fallen off to anyone else? Singular Act 1 & 2 - ESPECIALLY 1!!! - were superb but her recent stuff is a lil eh to me.

i haven't liked anything by sabrina since "skin" tbh. i have a feeling this album's not going to be for me.

see and I didn't even like that either. It felt rushed and very obvious but also like she didn't believe in it? There's a confident ease in SA 1&2 that I've missed with her. Hopefully she bounces back

i can agree with that! i know "skin" was divisive in a way. i feel like she's trying to figure out who she is still, which makes sense (i can't believe she's only 23!).
