1x9: All Those Who Wander The U.S.S. Enterprise crew comes face-to-face with their demons - and scary monsters too - when their landing party is stranded on a barren planet with a ravenous enemy.
[Spoiler (click to open)]The two crewmembers dying was obvious from the first scene. But Hemmer was such an interesting character, played by the first legally blind actor in the franchise's history. Disappointing.
ITA - and they lulled me into a false sense of security by waiting until almost the end of the season to kill off anyone significant. I was so disappointed and sad because I liked this character and wanted to know more about him.
The show really focuses on the human characters when there's so much scope for something more interesting. Is Starfleet supposed to be this human-centric in this time period?
I just started this and finally got into Discovery and I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM OH MY GOSH PIKE AND MICHAEL AND SPOCK AND ASH AND TILLY AND EVERYONE IS JUST PERFECT.
I'm heartbroken but that was incredibly well done. This show just works on a different level than the other Trek shows. The cast has just come together and the writing is so strong. The show takes on a different tone every week but it always feels like SNW.
