it's fun but it's also SO much upkeep to stay ahead of the roots. I gave up after like a year and a half and now I have this horrible ombre thing happening

I went blonde last year, took a while to find what works for me and unfortunately one fancy salon I went to several times friend my hair when doing roots - my only luck is that my natural hair is as straight and thick as they come and it hasn't all broken off (some did though)

then I got lucky that I found a hairdresser near my hometown who is skilled and very affordable, so anytime I go visit my parents, I also book her... otherwise I would be broke honestly

but I really do love it and I keep getting compliments so for the time being it is worth the hassle

it's cute, I have always been someone who enjoyed playing with the color of my hair I think it's good for you to switch it up sometimes haha, variety is the spice of life and all that
