So glad this ridiculous show is back! But I don’t watch the previews or read the Reddit/fan theories because I like being surprised. For example, I would have felt so cheated knowing the S1 twists in advance.
That being said, I love where they picked up this episode - the time dash makes things more interesting! So curious to find out how this version of Dolores ties into everything, and what her “world” and NPC stories are about. It’s nice to get to see ERW show her gentle side after two seasons of stone cold killer Dolores. Maeve being a badass is always fun. Missing Bernard, but I assume he’ll show up soon, and I can see from the still we get Charlotte back next episode.
I didn't care about his character last season and giving him an instafamily during the time jump still isn't making me care about him. Honestly, I found his astute wife and cute kid more interesting in their few minutes of screentime than I found him in all of S3.
I want to pick this show up again to support my queen ERW, but I had to bounce after the awful flop that was season 2. Did 3 pick things up and make more sense, or was it straight up nonsensical and very “making this shit up as we go”?
