Firing somebody, a qualified professional, bc of your own self hatred? Not cute. Like this woman wanted to help you in bringing a child into this world. It is a very intimate and special service she wanted to provide and you couldn't get over that she is prettier than you? Regain the plot, ma'am.

**I totally get that pregnancy can bring on,bring up and intensify feelings that are hard to navigate. But Amy needs to do the work and imo should have before giving birth. I see that she didn't and has not if she is telling this story like it is cute. Please everybody do the work to not pass on certain things to your children. I'm ok if people think I am making too much of this but it is how I feel.

Absolutely. I was unclear about when I think it's best to start working on that. I think it's best before you even have a child. Like when you decided you want to try to have a child. I most definitely would not want a pregnant woman to start unpacking trauma.
