The Orville creator and writer Seth MacFarlane has written a tie-in novella based on a scrapped script from season 3, titled "Sympathy for the Devil". Pre-order for ebook/audiobook available now!
Due to Covid shutdowns, we had to scrap one episode of The Orville: New Horizons. It was an outlier-a conceptually experimental story. Rather than let it vanish, I decided to adapt it as a novelization. Available digitally July 19, you can pre-order here!

June 25, 2022 One of the editors of the show, Tom Costantino, posted on twitter, stating that this was his absolute favorite script from season 3 of the show and he's disappointed he didn't get to edit it (source linked under "3" below). He also reveals that this episode was to have aired after the events of Episode 8 (which will air in July), titled "Perfect Blue".
I was upset when I learned that they'd be scrapping an episode due to COVID restrictions, but I'm happy that we'll at least be getting the story in novella form. I've already pre-ordered my copy. I also don't know what photoshop hell they got that cover out of but whatever, please take all of my money...
