To go through that NINE times before learning the answer to why it keeps happening - horrifying. I'm glad she did eventually get a clear medical explanation though, so many people without access to technology / medical services which are able to diagnose a problem never learn why it happens and think god is punishing them for some transgression.

Glad too that she was able to fulfill her goal for motherhood in another way.

god i don't know what *that amount of miscarriages can do to a woman. that must be beyond heart breaking, she is incredibly strong to talk about it.

I remember my mom telling me she suffered through 7 miscarriages before she had me…she was telling me how the Korean women in her church and her sister in-laws were total harpies towards her…acting like my mom was sterile and talking mad shit behind her back before she had me. She said that was around 40 years ago, and she still feels their isn’t much support for women like her, who can’t keep a pregnancy to full term.

My mom had two miscarriages before and two after giving birth to me. The ones I remember were incredibly sad 💔

I suffered a miscarriage in 2018 and i was expecting it to be hell psychologically… but was completely unprepared about the physical side of things. I had to have the dead fetus aborted and that was so fucking painful and I bled for fucking weeks.

I decided to be very open about the whole thing right from the start which in turn made tons of people be very open about their own experiences.
