Hmm

I mean, I feel like to be in any way a 'Well MY adult daughter wouldn't be doing X-Y-Z-' comes from an inherently possessive place, like you feel as if you can or should control them and that's not great. Denise's comments about her own work ring true and definitely come across as more intentional than a shrug emoji/'what can I do' thing too. I also can't say/speak to my own experience at that age because the most that existed when I was 18 was, what, my space and facebook?? Plus this could easily also lead into the double standards of personal behavior projected onto what is 'appropriate' for men and women.

All of which to say is - perhaps multiple things can be true at once:

* Joining onlyfans at 18 is not something I would personally do but is also something I'm not really in a place to judge (and it seems like something a good portion of people have been doing?)
* A general parental concern can both come from what they feel is a good place while also being HIGHLY hypocritical
