Loved the first two as well, couldn't get into the third, and then didn't even bother trying with the fourth.

S2 is my favourite, though I like S1 a lot too.

S4 could have been good - I could see what they were going for but it just didn’t quite come together. Ben Whishaw was amazing, though.

The only thing I remember about S3 is that I almost bailed because David Thewlis was so disgusting in it I could barely look at the screen.

Yes, season three was really bad. I stopped watching it, partly because it was boring and confusing and also, David Thewlis being gross.

I liked s1 and s2, I couldn't get into s3 and bailed before I watched s4 because I saw that awful Saw movie with Chris Rock and couldn't bear the thought of having to watch him act again. I might give it another try this season.
