I remember watching the premiere episode of Buffy and being so excited by it all. I had watched the movie a ton as a little kid but I was glad to see a darker take on it. I watched that series from beginning to end but it's funny how much of it I've forgotten now.

i was obsessed with the movie as a kid too which made me want to watch the show. then i fell in love with the show (though i don't think i finished its original run lol)

The Killing (US remake). That pilot was so good. The show kind of lost its way after the first season though, as so many do.

eh, I loooooove BrBa, but the pilot was pretty boring, it took a while for the show to really get going but once it did it was amazing

Currently re-watching it & forgot how good it is but also how it didnt really pick up until the end of season 2ish.

Yeah, it took me 2-3 tries to get into Breaking Bad and I didn't really get hooked until Gus shows up.
