lol I vividly remember summer 2002 because I spent the entire time blaring this cd & trying to psych myself up to wear a tie to high school when it started back up. I was not brave enough to actually wear the tie but sure did start wearing eyeliner!

This album came out when I was in 7th grade and was the perfect transition from me listening to teen, blubblegum pop to singer-songwriter pop-rock. Let Go still holds up, but I'll always think it's a little sad this will probably always be Avril's best (and most mature sounding) record, though I enjoyed Under My Skin a lot too.

let go was the first or second album i bought from my pocket money (the other one being nelly furtado's folklore). used to be a stan and the whole aesthetic of the art work was EVERYTHING to me, so I feel very nostalgic watching this video. she then lost me during her best damn thing era.
