I enjoyed the series, and think the performances were pretty good. Much less camp than one would expect. It did a really good job of explaining Angelyne’s history, generational trauma, etc while still keeping in touch with whatever fantasy she’s created for herself. I liked that Emmy played her realistically instead of this over the top character the whole time. All that said, some of the wig choices were questionable. Heh.

Oh, absolutely. I liked the play with visuals when it came to representing different points of views on how things really went down...or not. Not to mention the trippy end, but that said, I liked it wasn't all just some sort of bubble gum pink dream. It had its very real moments too, while still tapping into her whole public persona.

Nice to see Emmy going back to her curly hair.

I thoroughly enjoyed Emmy’s portrayal of Angelyne. I think there’s definitely room for an Emmy nom somewhere within the show. Her little giggles and HEWWWWW!!!’s we’re so cute. I for one love the idea of her being an alien. It tracks.

I finished this tonight and after a shaky start I thoroughly enjoyed it. Emmy really ended up embodying Angelyne.

I wonder how much of Angelyne's apartment was accurate and like others "how does she pay for everything"
