I can't get over how bad Viola is in this. The thing with her mouth is beyond parody, but more than that, I truly get the vibe she doesn't like Michelle. We've spent so many years in recent memory watching the Obamas and I feel that whatever vibe Viola is going for doesn't match the energy that Michelle gave off. Like, Michelle is very smart, as strong an orator as Barack, and has a lot of personal charisma as well, and I just don't see Viola going for that at all ( ... )

Showtime probably couldn't be bothered finding and training decent child actors

Damnit I watch these previews just for the lips and I feel like they avoid showing them.

I like learning about each first lady but this show is just terrible.

I think it's hard to focus on each lady when throughout the entire episode we are going back and forth through the three of them, by the time we are on to the next one, I've already forgotten what was shown of the last lady.

I think they're having trouble tying all three ladies together for each time period, instead they should have dedicated three or four episodes to each.

I find Betty's story most compelling and the strongest of the three.
