Well this is disappointing. Alexis Bledel has decided to quit The Handmaid’s Tale ahead of its next season. In a statement, she said the following: “After much thought, I felt I had to step away from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ at this time. I am forever grateful to Bruce Miller for writing such truthful and resonant scenes for Emily, and to Hulu, MGM, the cast and crew for their support.”
I loved her character. :( But if the next season is full of June once again being June I get it lmao. They’ve been filming the 5th season already though so I wonder if she’ll be in some of it or not. Idk I just hope she at least gets a happy ending.
