No hate but why do they choose the exact same expression for every promo? Literally every promo shot I've seen for this looks like she stepped knee-deep in a puddle.
I love Cassie but she cannot sense danger in the slightest.It does get frustrating to watch her walk right into danger two times in 20 minutes.
The season was a mess but pulpy fun. I don't need the show to be perfect to be entertained but if they do another season, I need Cassie to be smarter when she gets tangled up in whatever the next mystery is.
On a related note, I laughed/rolled my eyes when Cassie asked Annie and Max why they went to the pier after she told them to stay put. This coming from the girl who was told multiple times by multiple people not to engage, follow, leave, interact, etc and then did exactly what she was told not to do about 30 seconds later? It's definitely frustrating to watch someone deliberately put herself in harm's way by not following orders/using common sense.
