well for starters i def didnt see her as a 20 anything in jp, legit thought she was in her early 30s i should also mention i was 5 when my parents attempted to see jp in theatres and i started screaming and crying when rexy first appeared and we had to leave 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Same. I thought she was maybe mid 30s and at least around the same age as Jeff. I just googled pics of her in the movie and I still don't see it. Granted I feel like the styling in the 90s somehow made everyone look older.

The styling in the 90s definitely made people (esp women) look older, but some people just naturally look older than they are, and how they carry themselves. As an adult having watched JP, I think she looked about 30-35 in the movie.

I never realised just how young the actress was, but I always thought that the character was meant to be older based on how self-assured she seemed, she came across more as 30+ imo

Same. She was obviously younger than him, but I saw her on the same level of authority as Sam Neill's character so I thought she was in her 30's. Same with Scully on the X-Files.
