This felt SO much like a classic TNG episode and I am here for it. I love the relationship between Una and La'an and I hope they go more into it. Also I kind of love Hemmer? I was worried that he was going to be a typical "comic relief" alien character like Neelix, but he's so grumpy and sarcastic ha ha.

Loved this episode! Especially the focus on Una, she’s a queen.

This was an amazing episode. I love this series. The way they've paced out these first few episodes has been perfect. Simple, familiar plots so that we have time to focus on getting to know these characters. Pike, Spock and Una always get their moments and they've rotated in and out the secondary characters.

While I was watching this episode, I was thinking about how glad I was that the show has been doing relatively simple stand alone/MOTW plots so that we can learn about all of the characters and their relationships with each other. Once we get to know them all, they can maybe move toward some more multi-episode arcs or complex stories but I really like that they are not going overboard with plot right away.

I’m really liking the series so far. I like how we are getting to see lots of secondary characters too.

loved it. loved getting to know the characters. i find it so funny transporter guy is called kyle. una's ponytail was magnificent.
