Watched The Lost City last week which was okay. Nothing special but not bad. Operation Mincemeat also this week which was a better war movie than usual and I liked that a lot.

Watched Doctor Strange MoM earlier. Wanda remains my Queen. I liked it a lot, and enjoyed how the pace was set.

Also watched Russian Doll S2 this week, the last of Grace and Frankie, S1 of Trust Me (needed a Jodie Whittaker fix) and watched Moon Knight just in case I needed to know anything for MoM. That was alright but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did other shows. Probably because I wasn't really interested in a MK show. Worth the time though.

What the actual fuck at Shepherd getting a release in the US?

This was a scam movie production which didn't pay alot of the scottish crew, and the locals on the Isle of Mull where it was filmed. Was despicable.

Looks like shite too.

Sorry for coming in and being all negative! Just know a lot of people who were affected by it. Hoped it would have been buried, so it's crazy they got distribution and may be able to profit from what they did.

I've been to the movie theatre a lot (read: 3 times) within a bit more than a week. It feels like a lot, especially because I hadn't been there ages due to the pandemic.

Last week I saw The Northman, which I liked, although it didn't quite fulfill my expectations. Yesterday I saw the new Downton Abbey movie; absolutely loved it. I thought it much better than the first movie, and it made me cry buckets. And today I finally saw Everything, Everywhere All At Once, and I'm still processing it, lol. But I really liked it and it made me cry as well. Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu especially are so deserving of awards.
