i watched death on the nile last weekend and woof. emma mackey was trying her hardest to right the ship despite the go girl give us nothing from the other two members of the triangle, but there's not much memorable about it.

i've been hoping to finally see everything everywhere or the northman but covid contact got me (not sick right now, thankfully). gonna find something else to watch while in isolation instead! i'll probably watch crush despite the bts drama lol

Only the docs look interesting.
And, we learn, yet again, that Communism is great unless you're gay, (or Jewish, but that's not in "Firebird"). And why do we have so many gay films coming out lately that are such fucking bummers? Is it really good to be reminded of how shitty the recent past is for gays, when everything is turning bad all over again, everywhere?

I’m interested in the Gaspar Noé film.

i'm about to be on summer vacation and i am going to go ham catching up on movies i've missed. think i'm going to FINALLY see everything everywhere at imax if it's playing at the imax near me this weekend.

memoria is making it here next week too so i definitely want to catch that, and i need to see petite maman too! bummed i missed X in theatres but i'll watch it on vod when it's available for rental.

of the movies in the post, vortex looks potentially up my alley and i definitely want to see hatching!! i'll watch crush for sure too, looks cute and comforting. thanks for the post as always, op!
