wtf apt balconies are not public property. you can tell him to stfu for being loud before 7a (idk what the noise ordinance rules are in dublin) but that's a bullshit charge nevertheless

Someone on the first page mentioned it could be an intentionally bogus charge just to get the person somewhere safe when they are a danger to themselves, which I think sounds likely since he was released without charge the next day. Since he was on a balcony, I'm gonna guess that it seemed like he was close to falling and so they were just trying to get him off of it until he sobered up.
