I really did love this, but as to the crossed fingers, I feel like including Kyle MacLachlan in the sequel might be a bit too cute and on the nose.

Then again, I'm a huge fan of things that are too cute and on the nose and I would be down for a cameo or something. A wink of sorts.

Lynch's version is definitely a very different interpretation of the story that than Villeneuve's, but again, I personally wouldn't mind it. They both seem to care about the story and MacLachlan seems like a good person, so I would like that for him. Regardless, I appreciate that he appreciates that role.

It's bonkers, but many Dune fans hold it into high regard. So do those who just want to watch a nonsense OTT movie from the 80's, because it's mostly that.
