Alanis Morissette teamed up with Netflix to record the Bridgerton’s version of her 1995 single "You Oughta Know" with composer Duomo and orchestral troupe Kroma
I loved the usage of these old-timey modern covers in Westworld ("Something I Can Never Have"! "Black Hole Sun"!), and I love them in this show, too. This season of Bridgerton had some really fun ones - "Wrecking Ball" was probably my favorite, but I also loved "Dancing On My Own" + "Stay Away".
I’m disappointed that other streamers haven’t tried to adapt other popular regency series written by Maclean, Kleyplas, or my personal favorite Courtney Milan.
I'm surprised Starz hasn't picked something up now that they don't have Philippa Gregory's stuff to adapt anymore.
I know it's not finished yet, but I feel like the Talbot sister books by MacLean would be a good adaptation because you get the same "this is within a family and these characters are interconnected" like Bridgerton.
Wallflowers by Kleypas would be good too. They'd probably have to make some changes re: consent, though.
