Ooh, finally an awards show with shows I actually watch.

It’s A Sin was astoundingly good. Give it everything.

In My Skin is a show I never hear anyone talk about, but it’s so good (and so sad - you have to be feeling mentally strong to watch it).

Aisling Bea should win for This Way Up - she is amazing in it, and it’s another underrated show I never really hear anyone talk about.

Unforgotten was devastating last season - that has to be a favourite to win. Vigil was gripping but ultimately pretty silly if you spend 30 seconds thinking about the plot.

I love Motherland but my vote for scripted comedy has to go to We Are Lady Parts - that show was a delight.

We are lady parts 😍.

I love the post on Aisling Bea's insta about her and her sister both getting nominations.

I am basically using this list to list all of my upcoming docu watches ie specialist factual, current affairs and news coverage and the factual series noms.

I only figured it out when I read Nonso Anozie (because apparently my brain was ok with Callum Scott Howells David Carlyle and Matthew MacFadyen being in the supporting actress category for some reason? XD maybe I just skipped their names) and I though - "Wait a minute, why is Nonso Anozie in the Supporting Actress category?"

Freaking ridiculous that Emmerdale got a nomination. It's been such absolute shit for two years. Holby City ended last night (I sobbed uncontrollably) so it better win.

I've watched almost everything nominated, wowzers

I’m very surprised that David Thewlis got nominated for Landscapers and Olivia Coleman didn’t. Not that he wasn’t good in it, but she was the real standout imo

I feel like the BAFTAs pride themselves on being the “underdog” awards.

BAFTA loves to snub Olivia now that she’s been embraced by Hollywood, she got snubbed for the father and the lost daughter too
