Audition at 19...film comes out when he's 25 holy forkballs! That's ridiculous.

If I recall, this move was in Development Hell for years.
At one point they talked to Heath Ledger to play Max & he passed away in 2008, just to show how long ago it was.

I can't even imagine Gal in this role. How she continues to book big roles is amazing to me.

She’s a terrible actress. She’s pretty though

She must be incredibly charming in person because she is a terrible actress and a piece of wood onscreen. I truly don’t understand how she keeps getting booked.

this was a really good book and i absolutely love fury road. it's just crazy to think that hollywood/studio execs saw all the love this movie received (both from fans + critics & even the academy) and they were like 'yeah we don't want to make anything like that again.' now all movie franchises are just generic stuff for the most part

To be fair, George Miller is a pretty singular director. A lot of people can't carry off the level of...weirdness he produces. (I do still wish more people would try though)

All of that doesn't mean much to them when the box office wasn't great.

And this movie went insanely over budget and took years longer than expected, right?
