I couldn't find a promo for next week's episode anywhere so instead, here's a video of the Peaky Blinders walking:

Told you this would happen. The entire "back to his roots"-plot feels like filler. Tighten stuff up, Steve!

I didn't like the execution but it made sense to me that although Tommy has all the outward appearances of a rich man who supports science and hospitals, as soon as something huge disrupts his life, he immediately reverts back to what he's known most of his life. It's kind of like people who stopped going to church after they left home but as soon as someone they love gets seriously ill, they start praying.

Firstly, they are really trying to go all Shakespearean tragedy with half "a curse on your family" scenes. It is so overly dramatic we were rolling our eyes more than the slow motion walks.

Secondly, nice to see Arthur get his grove on, and then immediately have it taken away by Stephen Graham.

Lastly, they are surely making Tommy sick so they can justify his death at the end of the series right? That is the only way I can see this playing out.

I really feel no enthusiasm for watching this season. I thought the last two were pretty weak. I might just read spoilers to see what happens to the characters (then I don't have to sit through another few hours of slow-mo).

Yeah, it's barely worth staying awake for right now.

No matter how much I grumble, I know I'll stick it out for the last three episodes because we're so close to being done!

It’s felt sooo slow to me ever since Tommy became a politician at the end of season 4, you wouldn’t think the pacing would feel this off when it’s only six episodes, but geez this season especially has really been feeling like a struggle to get through.

(comments for last weeks ep lol)
kinda disappointed they're going back to tommy's tunnel ptsd, it's just kinda boring at this point to me. it kinda got dropped the last couple seasons, right? i don't remember it past s2 or 3.

can't really remember anything else to mention other than michael is still dumb and squinty and mustachioed.

i think mosely's wife could be an interesting villain and seems like thats how they're setting her up but we'll see.
