Amazon released two episodes per week so the whole season was only four weeks!

disappointing season. loved moishe and abe scene. aren't midge and joel still married from last season? it was like never mentioned again.

How are they going to tie up all the plots they set up if they have just one more season and only 8 episodes?

My favorite thing about this season has been watching all of the costumes and various performances at the strip club. I don't know if all underground strip clubs in the 60s had such elaborate routines, but they were so fun to see!

I think ASP said they have a verrrry generous budget since it's Amazon. All Amazon shows have great production values tbh.

This season was uneven but it had some good scenes and the costumes are always pretty so I was entertained.

I thought they weren’t gonna go there but the Lenny and Midge stuff was so hot. Historical accuracy be damned Luke is a dreamboat and their chemistry is amazing.

Also Midge really needs to get her shit together, they really leaned on how much of an entitled brat she is this season.

I like how they showed Midge’s career stalling by refusing to go through the opening act routine. She wants to skip a couple steps to being a booked and busy headlining act. But it seemed like they might get her there by tapping into the late night circuit, which is odd since she’ll still be censored in some fashion.

Yeah I wish the show had gone the Shy Baldwin route with Bruce. A fictitious "Benny Spruce" or some shit where we clearly know what you mean versus actually name dropping. It's creepy when it's reality meets fiction (not to mention so weird for his family) but Kirby and Brosnahan have great chemistry.

I wonder if they’re wishing they would have. I believe he wasn’t meant to be a long term character but the audience was charmed by him

Very annoyed by the way they treated Midge's ex's current girlfriend, the Chinese American lady. I haven't seen the finale but even so, since the start it was very problematic.
She has barely any storyline, her and her boyfriend don't even have a loving scene, it's difficult to see them as a couple because it feels cold. impersonal, business-like and one dimensional.
And both actors have the range and the chemistry so there is no excuse.
Why does Midge get all the passion and sexual tension with her romantic prospects ?
I don't understand the scenaristic choice, it's a total waste of opportunity for the only non-western/WOC involved with a main protagonist.

I find Joel so repulsively ugly that I can't imagine him having chemistry with anyone lol
