I love Leighton but the writers ran that show into the ground of insanity and I have no desire to see those ruined characters again

What's sad is that Blair was actually on trajectory to really develop into a strong, self-assured woman pretty much all throughout season 4 and season 5. It's why I actually really like both of those seasons, because she's barely with Chuck, and she's really learning a lot about herself. She's calming her meanness, dedicated to being a better person, and having a fulfilling career.

Then it ALL goes out the window when she gets back with Chuck at the end of season 5, and season 6 doesn't exist to me :(

ita and that arc was REALLY grounded in her evolving and healthy relationship with Dan, which the writers of course threw out at the last minute to appease Chuck/Blair shippers. it was horrible.

Eh it's nice she didn't talk shit about the new cast, unlike say some of the old Charmed cast. If she were to ever actually pop up and NOT be with Chuck people would just hate the reboot more than they already do lol.

they'll shoe-horn in a mention of chuck and blair being endgame so no thank you. i didn't really like Weekend Away it felt like warmed over leftovers from a bunch of different movies and shows and books.

The Weekend Away was just so ridiculous at times... definite spoilers beyond this spoiler cut, beware [Spoiler (click to open)]especially with the death of Pavic falling in a well, and then x1000 with the killer "on camera" but oh it wasn't actually Pavic but HER HUSBAND???

I did like her with Zain but they suddenly brushed off his mob ties? like I said (or maybe I stopped paying attention)

seriously one of the worst movies i’ve ever seen. i like leighton but it seemed like she was doing someone a favor by being in a movie she clearly had no interest in. it actually felt like everyone was blackmailed into acting in it lol
