I thought nearly a decade ago Mila said she doesn't identify with Ukraine? Of course her feelings may have changed over the last 8 or 9 years.

She grew up American and that's the most solid identity she probably identifies with, but I'm sure the older she got/getting the more she's learning about the Ukraine her family left and connecting to the Ukraine that is now.
It's borderline identity, like most immigrants in America, we struggle with balancing the multiple identities, we often have to present to the different aspects of our daily lives.
