he's def. the most convincingly mentally unhinged batman on screen to date - I found him legit frightening in some of the earlier scenes in a way that I never did bale, keaton, etc.

I didn’t mind them together in the movie (although I was super confused bc I thought it was clear her and Annika were a couple, but she moved on real quick) but ia, these pictures aren’t doing it for me; I can feel the complete lack of chemistry in them

ok, you are not the first person i've seen comment that her and the annika girl were together and i didn't see that at all. like, it seemed like they were close/besties rather than lovers. just because she called her baby? idk it seemed like some ambiguous baiting at best and like you said, she immediately seemed to move on after she found out what happened to her. doesn't sound like lovers to me.

No, it wasn't because she called her baby. Everything about their interactions seemed incredibly intimate, which is probably why I'm not the first person you've seen say that. Her moving on immediately doesn't negate to me that they weren't lovers either, it just seemed to show me another movie where lgbtq+ characters get the shaft in order to progress the hetero love story. Zoey herself said she was playing it as bisexual, so it seems like it was very purposeful and if it wasn't the intention, the queerbaiting could have bene left out
