Not to sound like an asshole, but I'm so fucking sick of Bruce Wayne's dead parents

I did get a kick out of the make-up/wardrobe department making Colin Farrell's Penguin looks nearly identical to Rob De Niro's Al Capone prosthetics, lol

Well it’s not an origin story, so at least they don’t go through that all again.

I liked that it wasn't just wall-to-wall action constantly; Batman actually investigated and did detective work. You also saw him get hurt and he seemed genuinely hurt as humans do, although obviously a real person wouldn't be able to get up for weeks dealing with the injuries he sustained.

I loved it. It felt like an Arkham game come to life. This is the type of film that Snyder wants/thinks he can make but has failed to do. It was dark but it still had life to it unlike Batman v Superman. Both are long as hell but this didn't feel like 3hrs of my life.

Give.Me.More.Selina!!!!!!!!

While I loved NWH, I think this is the stronger film that has a much tighter storyline when you take out the multiverse of it all that makes it so great.

Apparently they were banned from having Penguin smoke which makes me laugh that we get severed body parts, lots of violence, death, murder, but that cigarette is going to influence the kid in the audience to light up.

WB added a “this movie contains tobacco depictions” title card in front of West Side Story, and the picture went viral with most people assuming it was from the version Dinsey+ was screening lol. Disney listed it too but only on the top corner of the screen after the warnings of violence and language.

I watch a lot of old movies where EVERYBODY is lighting up and that almost influences me to start. But then I remind myself how many of them are dead over it and that prevents it more than any title card would.

Same.

It's weird how often it looks so suave when watching tv/film, but I'm kind of repulsed when I see someone smoking IRL.
