Like in The Post, Spielberg def likes holding on acting styles of the past but I always think it comes off silly in today’s world.
Ansel singing-wise I think is pretty good singing-wise and probably the best of male singers so far but looks-wise they might’ve missed here. His facial expressions are MIA most of the time.
I can see why Ariana is getting all the acclaim. The Anita character is instantly likeable. I don’t totally see the powerhouse acting yet (cause she’s not it much surprisingly).
I think Rachel would’ve done better if not for the accent. A lot of the accents seem kinda terrible lol. Her singing is great though!

Nightmare Alley - Enjoyed it, was a well-rounded movie.
Licorice Pizza - Hated it, literally boggles my mind how it's been getting award accolades
Belfast - BLAH, it was fine but I don't get all the accolades for it either
