I watched The Lost Daugheter, mixed thoughts on it but Id be interested in seeing what maggie gyllenhaal directs next

Caught up with Bergman Island the other day and meh lol. I just don’t think I vibe strongly Mia Hansen-Løve’s films. Always happy to see Tim Roth, Anders Danielsen Lie and Vicky Krieps though!

I saw Cyrano today and I knew before I saw it that it was a musical, but I didn't realize it had been performed on stage as well. That was a happy realization because I liked the music quite a lot. And the song Wherever I Fall Is Heaven was particularly tearjerking given that last few days. Listening to the cast recording now.

It also reminded me that as much as I like Peter Dinklage and as talented as he is, The Station Agent is one of my favorite films, I have only seen him in two films where he was the lead. That one and Cyrano, and not just a featured player like in the Marvel movie and the one about a funeral whose title I obviously can't remember.
