He's guilty af but i must admit watching his narcissistic ass being clueless about how he came across and his actions was super interesting to me. And seeing how the legal team had to work around him.

he killed her though, right? I remember the forensic files but about the blood evidence and how she had been bleeding out for some time before he called police

It’s infuriating that no one believes that a huge owl flew in and knocked her over. I get mad about that too, OP.

speaking of true crime, I’ve been making my way through See No Evil, which is a quasi-Forensic Files show but with surveillance cameras, and the earlier seasons are better because in later seasons the re-enactments get so detailed and exaggerated.

BUT I was watching one and for whatever reason, they legit used an exterior shot of my local small-town police department when I live in CA and the case was in Texas, and it was sooooo weird. Like…such a weird and random choice to make.

Is it on Hulu or Netflix?

It’s on Investigation Discovery and I use my mom’s satellite account to sign in lol

Sometimes it’s very exaggerated but most of the focus is on surveillance cameras and using whatever is available (gas station/ATM/drive-thrus) to find clues. There are some creepy episodes where you see the killers stalking their victims at the store and it really makes me paranoid!!

Ahh Hulu has some ID shows but it's more of the older ones lol I'll keep an eye out!

I like these shows as background shows but yeah, they can be creepy and unsettling

oh ew, a dramatization of this story is so not necessary

I will say that the owl defense fascinates me

wasn't there legit owl feathers (or like, microscopic pieces of them) found in her hair or something?? I have not studied this case closely but I feel like that was something that came up
