Now more importantly, I've seen Jennifer Aniston referred to as blonde multiple times in the media but her hair is clearly brown? What am i missing?

There are people who were born blonde and have made it their entire identity and live in denial that they grew up to have light brown hair. If you type “brunette” into the tiktok search bar it even suggests “ brunette girls saying they are blonde” lol.

I think the confusion comes from level 7 hair

It's technically considered "dark blonde" but depending on the lighting etc it can look sometimes fully brown and sometimes fully blonde. And then it lifts to a lighter blonde with sun exposure.
