THR is weirdly precise here, so i guess all acting nominees this year are vaxxed at least

Yeah, I was about to say that, out of the current BIG nominees, the only who wasn’t really participating in events (that often demanded vaccination) was Will Smith, but apparently he was filming something.

There’s no way these actors who are unvaxxed are able to live in LA unless they have a fake vaccine card. They even check your vaccine card for museums where we are all masked anyway. It’s not like a rigorous check, but you still have to show something.

If they were on set probably though, for insurance purposes, hence the press stories when projects shutdown? But if they had enough savings not to be working, even if vaxxed, if you live in/near a metropolitan you absolutely can avoid going/being with other people so a fake vax ID is irrelevant, no? People with more money/with clout and a house/flat anywhere in the world probably don't have to go anywhere.

Yeah that’s definitely true, but a lot of life in LA has returned to normal (but for mask wearing). I don’t know many people who are still staying at home. Yes of course if they value their health they should stay home if unvaxxed, but I don’t think the unvaxxed in the US truly value their health and believe in science.

It’s been the same here in Germany. For some stuff like a restaurant you even need to be boostered OR vaccinated + a negative test result of that day but those 25% who still have not been vaccinated do not seem to leave the house anyway so it does not appear to matter to them. I would die, not being able to go to the movies for example

Who work in Hollywood and isn’t vaxxed, that’s stupid

the 2021 Oscars took place in mid-April, so there were still age restrictions for the vaccine at the time I think where only people over 40 could get it?

Idk because I think I got my first shot around mid-late April, and got the second in May.

Yeah, me too. I knew people that were able to get it in March because they were able to find the public vaccination sites quickly. My boyfriend and I drove an hour south since it was easier to get an appointment in a smaller city.

Yeah my dad was the first to get it cause he was older than 65+, and then me and my mom could get it by april-may.
