Eight celebrities (Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Brie Bella, Cat Kora, Loni Love, Antonio Gates, Corbin Bleu, Howie Dorough, Tyler Cameron) gather at the hotel used as Kellerman's Resort in Dirty Dancing. Each week they recreate scenes and dances from the movie. It's a competition but all they've said so far is that they're competing to be the ultimate

I loved Dirty Dancing so much as a little girl. I vividly remember my Mom always fast-forwarding the “boring parts” which I later realized were all the sex scenes. 😆

Tyler Cameron is still a hottie, but he now gives off a thirst for fame which is an immediate turn off :/

Ha, how old were you when you realized that the allegedly boring parts were actually the sex scenes?

Lol I don’t really recall when it was, but I just remember having a lightbulb moment in realizing those weren’t just deleted scenes, nor were they very boring lol

my mom straight up did the opposite of that because when they released it in theaters again in 1997, she brought my sister and I (we were like 11 and 8 at the time) to see it on the big screen, sex scenes and all! lol

The original version of the show was done in Australia in 2019. They flew everyone to the United States to film at Kellerman’s for that one too! Kym Johnson from DWTS was one of the choreographers for the Australian show.

Dirty Dancing is one of my all time fave movies so my heart says no but I'm also a wee bit curious lol I gave that remake a shot so why not? Lasted 5 minutes but that's not the point.

I was afraid my love of the original movie would make me hate this show, but the show tried very hard to recreate even the smallest moments from the movie. It seems like everyone involved was a fan and knows that they’re doing an homage, so I found the show mostly inoffensive to my memory of the movie.
