I still have to finish this show. I think it's cute and her wardrobe is nice, it's a bit over the top quirky sometimes but it's manageable.

Anyway I prefer a slow burn, even in my own personal life I am the type of person that can easily take many many months or even years to get with someone lol.

i agree they had a crazy amount of chemistry but "the producers wanted it to be a slow burn" doesn't really make sense because they got together pretty early, were together for a whole season, and then got broken up because it didn't work as well on screen as the will they/won't they.

I stopped watching in season two bc I got tired of the upswing of couple narrative with the characters. I wanted to watch Zooey be quirky on a fun show without the relationship bullshit.
