idk how I never realized that people think Tommy will be redeemed, that that’s his actual arc, until reading this. They do that with every show that has a white protagonist who’s a shitty person!!

I tend to stay in a bubble with my shows and not get into the online fan spaces at all so I just tend to forget that my takes on shows are likely the minority lol

I remember reading that the creator intended to end the story with the first airstrike sirens of WWII, so I don't know how anyone could hope for a ~happy ending. Also not sure what a redemption would be worth for a character who's lost pretty much everyone and everything. 😬

This is exactly how I consume shows and I'm equally flabbergasted. It feels like I'm watching a different show than the rest of the internet now.

He's such a striking person and such a good actor. He would be terrible if he were a big worldwide name.

I forgot Helen McCrory was so young when she passed. RIP. Cancer is so awful.

He's so talented. I look forward to watching him in the Peaky film and seeing how things turn out for his character.

I'm still fucking gutted by the loss of Helen McCrory... I've rarely connected with a character the way I have with Polly Gray. I'm excited for the final season but I don't know if I'm emotionally ready tbh.

Polly was the voice of reason so I don’t know who can take her place in that.

"He starts slipping in and out of the present tense"

Wheww, this hit hard. It's so hard to talk about someone you lost in the past tense.
